Handover: Design input
Design input from the buyer is the pack pattern, film, item and pack dimensions in mm, duty cycle, three-phase supply, footprint and the destination plant. State whether loading is manual, semi-automatic or fully automatic. Public SMIPACK notes that distinguish film-only, pad-and-film and tray-and-film arrangements are a packing map for questions, not a claim that this site sells that range. Connected load in kW, supply frequency in Hz and compressed air demand belong on the same sheet because they limit where the frame can sit.
Supplier answer
Each shrink wrapping machine manufacturer should answer with the infeed configuration, seal-bar envelope, tunnel type including cooling, and the format guides exchanged between pack sizes. The answer should state how film finish and package stability are judged after the agreed cooling interval, and who supplies accumulation or discharge conveyors. Certificates attached to the quote belong to that supplier document. Spare parts lists should name sealing elements and film-path wear items rather than a generic kit.
